This is a portrait of the genius Patrick Wolf. I got bored of my other style, as it was just becoming dull and there were so many that did the same so with this piece I decided to try and get it to look a lot rougher. I basically went about creating this like a kid with a packet of crayons, I couldn't tell you the exact technique because it was completely experimental. All the crude and unfinished-looking parts of the image are intentional and I quite enjoy them. I used Photoshop CS2 to create this and a lot of custom brushes made to simulate traditional mediums and a pile of textures, some taken by me some found around the web.
